Working with Tom at TDA Diamonds was a comfortable and seamless experience. I gave Tom a brief outlining what I wanted—a natural aquamarine stone—and he came prepared with a selection of beautiful options in various sizes and shapes. After viewing them, I chose a stunning 1.5-carat natural aquamarine from Nigeria as the centre stone, set in 18k white gold with 8 side diamonds. From selecting the design and stone to receiving the finished piece, the entire process took just over three weeks. The ring was even hand-delivered to me, which added a personal touch. After first messaging Tom on social media about a ring for my wife, he went out of his way to travel to Lakeside so we could meet in person and view some samples. After inspecting the initial ring and stone under a 10x loupe, I decided it wasn’t quite right. That’s when Tom showed me two 1ct loose stones and a photo of a Toi et Moi style ring he was working on in white gold. I asked if he could create the same design in 18k yellow gold—and he said yes without hesitation. When the ring was ready, Tom happened to be out of the country, so Marzena personally delivered it to me. All I can say is—wow. The craftsmanship, service, and overall experience were exceptional.
